To honour the birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore, Tagore House organized a special assembly on May 9th, 2025. The solemn lighting of the lamp by the Principal, Coordinator, house mistresses, and the house captain marked the beginning of the event. This was followed by a spiritual ambiance created through a prayer from Gitanjali and a prayer for peace, complemented by a graceful prayer dance and insightful readings on Tagore's life. The cultural programme then unfolded, featuring an engaging skit titled "A shared umbrella," a self-composed poem demonstrating student creativity, a moving recitation of Tagore's "A letter from Shillong" and the girls singing "We are the world". The Principal Sr Mable Rudum's inspiring words provided a fitting conclusion before the assembly culminated in the singing of the National Anthem.
