Description: On the occasion of World Environment Day on 5th June 2017, JPIC, Loreto Convent School Shillong planted 100 numbers of trees which included pine, orange, lemon, bay, peach and jagaranda saplings. The students and teachers planted these saplings in different parts of the city. It was also a memorable day for the school as the Provincial Sr. Anita Braganza was present in Shillong and graced the occasion. The students and teachers also took an oath of planting more saplings in and around Shillong within the year 2020.
