Loreto Convent, Shillong, sent a delegation of fourteen students from Classes IX - XI, accompanied by two teachers to the Loreto Convent Darjeeling Model United Nations (MUN) 2025. After traveling from Shillong to Darjeeling, the group was received warmly and taken on a sightseeing tour. The MUN conference, held on the 21st and 22nd of September 2025,included participants from other Loreto and local schools. The Shillong delegation performed commendably, with some students earning awards and all receiving a certificate of participation. The school itself was recognized with a memento. The trip was considered a success, as it greatly enhanced the students' public speaking, critical thinking, and diplomatic skills.
