  • Celebration of Income Tax Day

    Event date : 24th Jul, 2017

    Income Tax Day was celebrated on July 24th, 2017 and on this occasion, the Income Tax Dept., Shillong organized an essay writing competition for students of classes 9 and 10. It was held at Aayakar Bhawan Building, MG Road. The topics were "Swachch Bharat Abhiyaan" or "Income Tax, its role in Nation Building". Five students from Loreto Convent participated out of whom 2 won the second and third runners-up trophy.  All participants received certificates for participation and mementos. Second runners-up trophy was won by V.Drishti Rao (IX-B), third runners-up trophy was Megan Cunville Rani (IX-A).
