Activities to celebrate Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav

Description: On the 11th of August the LTS and the Guides unit of the school organised various activities to celebrate our Independence Day and also to specially dedicate this day to mark the celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Each class had different activities.These activities began at 8:00 am. Classes X- XII: Collage making representing the 75years of glorious history of development, ideas and innovation Class IX: Making of wind chimes based on the tricolour. Class VIII: Candle decoration representing the tricolour. Class VII: Logo making depicting Loreto celebrating Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Class VI: T-shirt painting on the theme 75 years of Independence. Nursery to class V began with a special assembly on Independence Day,it was followed by the activities for Classes IV and V- Fancy Dress ( dress as your fav leader/ patriot/freedom fighter) Class III: screening of movie: I Am Kalam Class 2: Drawing of the National Bird/Flower/Animal Class 1:Drawing of the National Bird/Flower/Animal Class KG: Indian Flag making with crushed paper. Class Nursery: Indian Flag making with crushed paper. These various activities helped the children understand the 75 years of India's story of Independence and it's journey to self reliance.
