Description:
“We Care” this year had a different meaning altogether. To start with we had a GoogleMeet with the parents and students of Class VIII A whee it was decided that we will look for families who are living from hand to mouth, they will be provided with the essential commodities of daily basic requirement atleast to support them for few months.
In few days time a parent came up with names of three families from Cleve Colony who are daily wage earners . All agreed to help them. All the parents were requested to bring 5 kgs of rice and two or three essential commodities of their choice. The parents were very generous and donated more than expected. After collection of all the essential commodities they were divided equally for all the three families so that all got equal share.
On 15/12/2021, nine girls from Class VIII A, accompanied by few parents, and three cars sent by parents carried the goods and headed for Cleve Colony Community Hall. One member from each family were there to receive the essential commodities. The names of members who received the commodities were:-
1) Lila Rajak
2) M. Thapa
3) Amelia Lyngdoh
After the girls handed over the essential commodities they sang Christmas Carols for them and wished them well. The family members blessed and thanked all present there.
